Checking a shop for a price drop is a small task that never ends. Done by hand it is repetitive and easy to abandon; done by a service it usually means yet another account and yet another feed of noise.
pricewatch takes the other route: a self-hosted watcher that runs on its own schedule and only speaks when something is actually worth buying.
Each watched product carries its criteria — in stock, new condition, below a target price — and the watcher checks its shops on a schedule, unattended, from its own self-hosted box.
Every price it reads carries a confidence score, and the display treats that honestly: the shakier the price, the fainter it looks.
